I'm looking forward to getting these items from eBay. I remember playing World Class Track Meet and loving it. I never had a Power Pad as a kid but my friend had one. I never played Short Order/Egg-Splode except for on an emulator and it was kind of fun. The Power Pad auction was for both the pad and World Class Track Meet. The total combined amount with shipping was around $40. Most of the other Power Pads on eBay were around $20, plus shipping and no games. I'm looking forward to getting these. Smile

You can try it wih your feet. I played on one at one of my cousin's houses when I was kid. Tiring.

DDR has the Power Pad to thank for where these games are now.

It was designed for foot use. It even says "Remove shoes before using." on it. But everyone would eventually get sick of exercise and just cheat and use their hands.

Short Order/Egg-Splode was the only other Power Pad game I ever owned besides WCTM from the tri-cart. It was damn fun, especially Egg-Splode. My and my brother used to get a couple of friends over, and we'd each take a row. The game eventually becomes impossibly fast, and you don't have time to mentally process whether it's an egg or a bomb before the damn thing explodes.

Which reminds me. If they ever released a Taito Classics Collection for the DS, they need to include Monkey Mole Panic.

If you live on a second floor apartment or at least have someone living underneath you, be prepared to get yelled at; the thing iS LOUD. I remember having one of these as a kid, and I had to stomp on it so hard (the buttons aren't sensitive at all) the majority of the furniture in my living room shook all over the place.

I do live in a second level apartment, but the space below is currently vacant. Also the space below was used mostly for commercial purposes, meaning the people were only there during the day. So if it gets leased out again it will most likely be for a business and I work during the day anyway so I'd be able to play it at night without anybody below.
