I watched Sweeney Todd the other day, not too pleased with the ending.

Okay. I just finished watching the Dirty Harry pentalogy in order (not all tonight).
Aside from a few manditory Christmas themed rentals, I think I am going to stop renting for a while (other than my Netflix) and try to watch all of the movies I own. With the Dirty Harry movies out of the way, that's five down, only several hundred to go. I'm really not sure what order I'm going to watch them in, but I'm going to try my best not to repeat any until I've went through them all.
I'm thinking of either moving on to a marathon of Arnold or Sly. Since I'm fresh off Dirty Harry, Cobra sound appealing. But for whatever reason, I'm craving some Total Recal and Running Man.
Either way, I'll probably squeeze in another movie tonight.

The other night I couldn't sleep so it was the late night of mindless movies, that I do enjoy, on various cable movie stations.
Beerfest
Beer Leauge
Baseketball
Meatballs

Watched Fred Claus last night. Although they are completely different, at times, especially when rambling, Vince Vaughn displays some Chevy Chase-esqe qualities that I really like.
I usually don't give some of these guys their fair shake. I think its because of all of the people that think guys like Vaughn, Wilson, Wilson, Stiller, Ferrell, etc make the greatest movies of all time.

I watched Step Brothers for the first time Saturday night. I didn't know what I would think. It looked like it might be funny, or like I might not like it at all. But once I was watching it, I don't think I have laughed so hard since I watched Borat for the first time. Fucking great. I usually don't buy a lot of new movies. I normally would rather buy an older movie just as good for a quarter or a thrid of the price. But I had to run out on Sunday and pick this movie up.
I also watched Office Space for the first time. I know, it took me long enough. I really don't know why I hadn't watched it yet. It was really good and I liked it a lot. But I think due to the build up, it wasn't as good as I was expecting.
I also watched Road Trip again and Super Bad again on Saturday night. Easily two of my favorite movies.

I hadn't watched this in a while, but it was on HBO. I have it on VHS but I need to get it on DVD.

An interesting movie done like a documentary, but it is all fiction. I didn't use the term mockumentary because it doesn't make fun of the subject matter so much. Morgan Spurlock was the producer. It was ok, I don't hate it, but not a favorite at all.

Ditto. There's something about Will Ferrel playing a mildly retarded 40 year old. There was a deleted scene with the guy that says POW. That should of made it into the movie.
I just watched the Princess Bride for the first time a couple days ago. Some of that movie had me cracking up for not good reasons. INCONCIEVABLE!

I just watched Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children today. I thought it was pretty bad ass. It has me itchin' to play some FFVII. I actually liked it quite a bit better than I did The Spirits Within. That may have a lot to do with me already being familier with the characters. I was kind of nervous going in because I assume it would be easy to fuck up a movie like this, but I really liked it.
