What kind of experience are you looking for? I ordered games and such off amazon.

Shit happens.

But I have ordered several things from Amazon and had good experiences every time.

Also, if you happen to hit the timing just right... you can get great deals.

I'm wondering about how reliable they are and how long it takes for there shipments to usually arrive. It seems more like Haddox got unlucky rather than Amazon itself sucking...

They usually say 2-5 days. And it's usually before the 5th day. They are pretty reliable.

I've placed probably between 15 and 20 orders on Amazon, and never had a bad experience.

The only bad experience I've ever had, is when ordering NES games, one of them just didn't work properly, but the seller immediately sent me a new one. As for buying directly from amazon i've had great service. They ship fast and have a good guarantee.

I got a Nyko Perfect Shot and an SD Card off of Amazon, but I didn't order them, I used prizerebel. The Perfect Shot took less than a week to get to me, and the SD Card was a little longer.

Yeah, ive never had any problems with amazon. Just make sure you have all of your bases covered so its their fault if something goes wrong. Its a very good site for most things.

I've probably ordered upwards of 50 times or so. Just like with any online merchants, make sure the person/company you buy from is reputable and leave feedback after you receive your item(s) so others know how they stack up to their competition.

Usually takes 3-5 business days to receive stuff (I've found they're closer to 3 in busy times of year like now). Also if it's from Amazon direct, you have no worries. If your package is lost (like the link everyone seems to be posting) or damaged (had experience with this once), they will rectify it. Just email them or notify them through the proper channels.

Hope that clears the air & MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! Very Happy

I've never had any problems with Amazon either and I've ordered a lot of different from there. Books, DVDs, I think I even got some Jack Sparrow costume pieces there. I can't complain, I recommend them usually.

I've been using Amazon.com for almost ten years now. I've only had one bad experience where they sent me the wrong item. However their return service is done well and I got the correct item a couple days later and sent back the wrong one, no shipping fee for me to send it back and so on.

2 purchases recently
Nerf Vulcan Chaingun for me
John Pinette DVD for my brother

I got both in perfect condition, the gun at my office in 4 days, the DVD at home in 2. Also, the gun free shipping because of the cost, and the DVD free shipping because of the holiday. No bad experiences with them yet.

I buy most of my books & dvds off of Amazon, and I also get some random stuff from vendors. They're pretty reliable and have a great selection. Every once in a while, shipping can take a while, though. Also, shipping itself can get pretty expensive.

Deepdiscount.com is also a good place for dvds. No shipping. I usually have to pay tax on them though, since they ship from the same state as I live in.

I've been using Amazon since it was primarily known as a book vendor website.

I'm in the Amazon Prime club and it is awesome. About 90% of the things I order come from Amazon.

My only complaint in all these years is that they got rid of Price Protection (it used to reimburse you if the price of a product dropped within 30 days of ordering it). I ordered "The Wire: The Complete Series" only to see it dropped in price by $50 two weeks later. So I had to send back the one I ordered and order the new lower price one. It was a hassle, but I did get the full refund on the earlier product.

Again, ONLY complaint in like ten years.

Prime would be worth it if you were buying something heavy. Just join earlier and then buy the expensive thing to ship. Then set it to next day and watch yourself get a huge heavy item one day later for $4 shipping.

Addition: And ordering frequently.

I'll be dead by the end of the week. Coincidentally, you'll be able to order my limbs and other remains from Amazon Marketplace.

If you change your membership now, you can get a great deal on shipping when the items become available. Tebor most certainly weighs more than 100lb, so quick, join up!
