Last night marked the start of חנוכה (Hanukkah). The first candle on the menorah was lit and the holiday has begun!

So, how many of you have ever played Dreidel?

In religious importance, it is true, they are more significant holidays.

In yearly traditions though, Hanukkah is an important time of year because families come together. No doubt this is because it shares a similar time frame to the Christmas date, but none the less, the holiday is a great excuse for gatherings and happy times together.

Cool, cool. I'm just not used to anyone being as enthusiastic as you though, as my one Jewish friend as a kid would always complain about Hanukkah. Smile

7 Days of Presents? I'm in man. I've played Dreidel, and I think it's a ton of fun.

Nah. No actual Jewish people around. I played with a dreidel I was given in grade school. I got it taken away and yelled at my the nuns. Confused Too bad. It spun pretty nice.

Nope. 8.

They probably have to suck to be affordable, though.

I was always happy with the gifts I got. Though in retrospect, it didn't have to be expensive to make me happy.

Yeah, but you don't have enough time, money, or effort to make/get 8 days of presents.

Um... I don't get presents every day anymore... I haven't since I was about 10. But so what?

If enough labor/money/time can't be put into a present, they'll suck. That's my point. It's been my point all along.
