I attempted to read
The Hobbit - I don't see it being very movie compatible... not nearly as action-oriented as LOTR

He probably wouldn't want to put his name on that film anyway!
Don't get me wrong, fans of LOTR will definitely go see it, money will be made, but it definitely won't win an oscar, nor will it even compare to the trilogy!
ADVICE: Jackson should have kept his hole shut until AFTER he signed a contract for The Hobbit...
*** Now I know my post is completely contradictory - he shouldn't make it - if he was to make it - but basically I am saying that if he's just in it for the money, he should have kept his mouth shut about being underpaid, BUT if he actually cares about what his name is put on, he definitely should steer clear of this concept!
