So I've finally finished it with both the main and bonus character. It was fun to play but I felt it was severely lacking when compared to the previous two releases. The glyph system is annoying as everything uses MP and the game felt really disjointed with all the seperate areas. I did like the challenege level and some of the unique enemies in the game.
A good game nonetheless. What do you guys think?

You pretty much summed it up for me. It did feel disjointed and some of the areas were too small. It felt really short as well. I was disappointed overall. I would even go as far as saying its the worst out of all the GBA/DS games.

Uh.. worst of the GBA/DS games? No. That honor still belongs to HoD.
You are on crack. I'd say it's one of the best. Also, the level design kinda reminded me of Simon's Quest a bit.

Ha, I really enjoyed HoD. Hell, at least your main character is a Belmont in that one, which is a rarity these days.

Agreed, HoD is the weakest, although it's not a bad game - there were more relics and weapons to collect. Felt longer to play, too.
If they really wanted to make OoE more like Simon's Quest, all they had to do was take away the area select screen and make you go through each and every goddamn area to get back to the town, haha.

I've managed to get a few of the Medallions, but that chain broke with that sandfish boss in Oblivion Ridge.

Go with Dawn of Sorrow. Just know that DoS is a sequel to Aria of Sorrow though.

Ecclesia is content lacking, but the difficulty makes up for it.
Get DoS first,.

I'm still slogging through this one. It's the first of the DS/GBA Castlevanias I'm not in love with. For the most part it's "grind to certain level, overpower cheap ass boss, repeat". And I refuse to start "Chrono Trigger" until I beat it. The torture is immense...

Would you put all of them down and pick up Mario Galaxies again. That is a game that deserves your attention.
