Why did you buy rumble roses? You never struck me as the kind of guy that buys a game just for the animated tits, so am I wrong or is there a genuinely good wresting game hidden there?

Wow. I haven't done too much of the story mode, but that explains some of the comments I read on GameFAQs's forums. Something else kinda disturbing (on a different level) is the fact that one woman does both Maria and Shanoa's voices in Judgment.

That video plays like an episode of Dora the Explorer. Why is the dialogue so choppy?!

How incredibly disappointing... I really thought this game was going to be very, very different.

I played it for a while today. it's kinda frustrating. I can see how they were trying to add depth to it by having the cancels and charging attacks and whatnot, but it really jsut comes off as awkward.
I also love how some characters get hit and knocked out of their moves EVERY SINGLE TIME they go for them, prompting them to stay the safe route of using the same attack over and over again.
a fun distraction or drinking game, but not for forty seven bucks.

A friend of mine tried Arcade mode with Cornell and it took him about 20 minutes or so to get past Alucard.

I played through the story mode with alucard (which is the pinnacle of epic storytelling, BTW) and the only way I was able to not get frustrated was by holding down the modifier button and spamming his summon spirits.

really? I don't think the game is that hard at all. I mainly use alucards sword combos and sub-weapons. My best character is probably Shanoa, and my second best is trevor ( who is fun to play as)

I don't really fuck with sub weapons too much, mostly because it's awkward to do while using my control scheme (really wish they would have let us map our own buttons).
I find his guard crush to be near useless.

After having gone through the "True" Story Mode (beat Story Mode with everyone except for Aeon--he's unlocked for being the "True" one) all I can recommend is to save your hearts for Round 12 and that the Time Reaper can suck it.
Time Reaper = more akin to a true Castlevania boss fight. You can't use your Hyper Attack against him and there are no objects to break for hearts/weapons. If you're playing a character without access to some sort of projectile, it's going to be a rough fight as he has 4-5 life bars.

I played this game for three hours today, it's fun, if not sometimes frustrating. I hate playing against the CPU's Eric and Shanoa... they are fucking annoying.
I think Maria is my favorite character I've tried thus far.

Maria can be incredibly cheap (I hate when the CPU starts spamming that Genbu boulder drop), not to mention you can chain her fire twirl into that wind dive.
I'm a beast with Shanoa, Alucard, Grant, and Carmilla.

I'm down.
The one thing that annoys me about this game is that the camera gets a little fucked sometimes.
