All I see everytime I go into 7-11 is a bunch of those just rolling for hours on end and no one I know has ever eaten one. Have you eaten one?

When they first had them a few years back, I tried them a few times.
It was always hard to tell which ones were fully cooked until you bit into it, so that was a problem.
Also, if I remember correctly, they tore up my insides pretty well, and this is coming from a guy who eats a lot of Mexican, slathered in hot sauce, so that's saying something.
You're better off getting one of their hot dogs, or one of their premade sandwiches....or hell, going to any fast food joint instead.

Yeah, thats what i think everytime. Who the hell buys that shit at 7-11. I mean the one by my apartment here has gas, so i get gas and very rarely a super big gulp. I buy water there when i go workout (HA!) at the SAC.

I eat them occasionally. Not from 7-11 but gas station ones. Steer clear of anything that isn't "chicken." Oh my god. did I regret the beef.
"Chicken" was tasty though.

I find the perishable food in 7-11's in my area to be generally sub-par. The taquitos are always nasty and old looking, and if you manage to find a hot dog less than 10 hours old, then the buns will inevitably be dry. If I'm going to take the convenient store route, then I prefer Circle K hot dogs with a bag of pretzels (Snyders) and a 32 oz. RC Cola.

Being in Pa I am a big fan of Sheetz. It is a convience store, that has a large made to order or MTO menu. Also, gas, and not just from their nacho's. I love that I can get a breakfast sandwich from them anytime of the day.

Circle K has okay hotdogs, which in terms of convenience store speak is great. Snyders makes the best pretzels, but I'm not sure where in the hell you live where you get RC out of a fountain.
As per the original post, I live in New Mexico. I can get mexican food in varying grades of quality, deleciousness, and price all over town, ranging from burrito trucks to professional restaraunts to burrito trucks to little kitchens made by people who just barely got here and more. Why on earth would I get a convenience store taquito? And thats if I actually wanted mexican food. I usually prefer chinese, fried chicken from churches, or a subway sandwich.

Oh you said Churches!!! I wish where I lived there was a Churches Chicken. I love all their food. Good thing I just ate lunch or I might really be hungry.

I live a block and a half from 7-11, and considering the neighbourhood I live in, it's an excellent 7-11. I've only been in one that's more inviting, cleaner, and friendlier, and that's in downtown Vancouver, near Chinatown.
So yeah, I've eaten the taquitos. I like 'em. Our Sev just started selling pizza too, and it's actually really good.

I JUST ATE ONE!
They're edible, but that's about it. Same goes for the sandwiches and dogs. The cheeseburger bite dog is fantastic, but it will destroy your innards.

This! I was on a sheets kick for awhile until I started this stupid "Buying Groceries" kick. A Mountain Dew Slushie followed by a meatball sub for $3 is ok in my book.

Every Sheetz I've been to here in PA tastes like garbage. It feels like they just took a frozen sandwich and microwaved it, because there's cold water on almost everything I've eaten there. Yeah, it's cheap, but I don't know if it's worth if it tastes like some kid dropped it in the toilet.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

I don't care what anyone says, 711 has catered to my drunken/high needs on more than one occasion, and for this they are gold.
You gotta take it for what it is, a convenience store, not a restaurant.
Long live 7-11!!!!!

Yah, 711 is pretty great, but I've always preferred Raceway. They always seem to have the lowest gas prices, and the steaming, rotating food in there is usually ok.

Up in Wisconsin we have Kwik Trips, and they have these things called Tornadoes, which I guess are basically the same thing. They are fucking terrible. I had diarrhea for days after I ate two of them. When I lived in AZ the Quik Mart had Twisters, which were exactly the same aas the Tornadoes (the logos are even the same), and I remember those being pretty good actually. Go figure.

Greg you really must live in the ass end of PA. We need to move you to a better area with better Sheetz. I could go for a shmuffin with sausage and egg, double meat, double cheese and one of those make your own milkshakes.

I used to eat those taquitos on lunch in high school. I liked them.

This. I live in the city so there ain't much around, but when I do, it's awesome. Grab me a quick slushie, lace it with some vodka (if I have some), and be on the move. I thought the food there was cool too.

Since the topic has been a bit derailed, in College, to enable drinking in class, I would save my empty snapple pink lemonade bottles, and then get the frozen pink lemonade concentrate, make it with mostly vodka, and then I could drink all through classes.
