Ditto, beside Nolan has made it clear he wants villain that have yet to get on the silver screen a chance. We might not see catwoman but then again, Cattivo serves a good point with rachel being dead and their being a demand for the character to be revived. She could be Bruce's rebound anyway, nothing serious enough to ruin the plot, like SM2, although i didn't mind the romance in that one.

My preorder shipped from Amazon yesterday. I'm so excited!
I checked tracking information, at apparently it's being shipped from Phoenix....not the usual warehouse of theirs that ships to me....

It is about fucking time Titanic went down.
But this feels like cheating.
They should have just left it in the theater for a year.

My college's movie club showed it in the theater room a few weeks back. I saw it twice . . . the same knight . . . . and i loved it both times around.

Well to be fair it's not being done to take down titanic as much as it's to have it qualify for oscar consideration I believe.

Nah, any movie that was released theatrically in L.A. during 2008 is qualified. But you're right that they don't just do it to take down Titanic; they just could have left it in theaters for that instead of re-releasing it in January. What they're really after is the attention of Academy members during voting season, hoping to increase the chances for Oscar nominations. (Edit: I just realized that that's probably what you meant with "qualify". Nevermind.)

I'll be little disappointed if Heath Ledger doesn't get an award.

Here's what could go down:
He gets the award due to being dead and the fear of many people sharing your disappointment if he doesn't.
Or the board gives the award to some random actor from some obscure movie no one remembers because they:
a) want to be dicks
b) are too snobish to give the award to a movie the 'populous' appraises.
c) they think, in their twisted, out of touch minds, the other actor is more desireving.
I'm hoping he gets it now, that way the Dark Knight will officially be the best movie in the 2000s. I am convinced it is.

Yeah it is what I meant. I remember Mystic River did the same thing.

It is a horror film about how scary it is to be left alone without a flashlight in the middle of the woods.
The actor in it was so terrified after filming that he ate lots of pills and never woke up. The other actor in it was so disturbed, he beat his family.

Got mine in the mail yesterday, but didn't have time to watch any of it last night because of Monday Night Football.
Gonna give the special features a spin tonight at some point.
