Anyone else have children, and if so, any advice for September when this thing pop's out and I am thrown into the role of fatherhood?
I am completely ecstatic at the fact of having a child, I seriously cannot wait, and neither can the wife.
Any encouraging stories and or congratulatory comments would be appreciated, although this thread isn't just a glory seeking situation. Thanks ahead of time to all those who can relate.

Enjoy sleeping while you still can. Once the kid is born, sleep pretty much becomes a distant memory.
Also, congratulations!

Well if it's a boy, than Pacman, and if it's a girl, obviously Mrs. Pacman.
Ha ha, no I really dig the name Adam, and for a girl we are liking the name Mia. But it's too early to be definitive yet.

Hey my name is Adam and both my cousin's daughter and our Great Aunt is named Mia. And if it's a girl, do like the guy I work with did as soon as he knew after she was born, next day, bought a shotgun.

That's funny, Adam is my first choice for a boy as well.
I'm kind of undecided on girl's names, but I like Abigail (Abby). And in spite of the fact that I'm not Russian, I really like the Russian name Tatiana.

LMAO, those are hilarious, Tyop.
My favorites are the "Calming Baby" one and the "Exercising Baby" one. I can hear the "Rocky" theme playing in my head when I see the baby pumping that iron.

Congrats. Last year I became an uncle, and my sister and bro-in-law developed huge bags and rings under their eyes which they still have. Enjoy!

Congrats man! The kid better be a musician!
And on that note, if it's a girl, I'll only be 20 years older...
Get used to not being comfortable with that.

Do like Knyte did and give your baby a completely awesome name. His son's name is Raistlin.
I recommend Cyan, Locke or Shadow for a boy, Relm, Terra or Celes for a girl.
Also, name your dog Interceptor.

If it's a girl, name her Skeletor, and Motorhead for a boy.

Raistlin is such a sweet ass name. I'm assuming it is a Dragonlance reference? If not, that's cool too.
I appreciate all the congrats guys, I'm really excited about it. And yes Ross, he or she will be the best drummer this side of Neil Peart.
Dog's name is already Milo, named after the singer of The Descendants.
