I have been working on a large difficult project at work.
Last night I told my boss that I would be staying late to finish it up and I would come in late this morning.
The plan was to wake up an hour late and then just get ready. This schedule conflicts with my wife's plans, so to be nice I got up 10 minutes earlier.
So I got up, went to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and began to get in.
My leg got in about half way when I realized the water was dark brown. I looked into the toilet and saw that the same brown water was in there.
So now, I am sitting on my couch waiting for the water to be fixed. My right leg half way up has brown water stains on it. Fucking gross.

That's nasty. I know back in the day my water would get sulphur-y and smell nasty, but I've never seen that. Do you know what it is? Is it excess rust or something?

Ugh... that reminds me of that time all the water in my house was red for a day.

If there's one thing I do like about Chilliwack, it's that we have absolutely spectacular water. It's the best tap water for drinking I've ever had, and it's never discoloured (unless I crank the very old taps in my bathroom to the max). It's probably because we're surrounded by rivers.

our water in phoenix, arizona, usa tastes like crap. the supposed reason is 'because it has fluoride' which sounds like BS to me.

My tap water is delicious and is ice cold. I've pulled bottled water out of my fridge that was slightly warmer than my tap water.
