I'm looking to expand my PS2 library. But I'm out of games I had to have, so I'm looking for suggestions on what to get next. This is a list of games I already have:
1.Soul Calibur III
2. King of Fighters XI
3. Shadow of the Collosus
4. Metal Slug Anthology
5.Suikoden V
6. Odin Sphere
7. Dark Cloud 2
8. Fatal Frame III
9. Disgaea 2
10. Shadow Hearts: From the new world
11. Okami
12. Metal Gear Solid 1-3
13. King of Fighters 2006
14. Street Fighter Alpha Anthology
15. Persona 3 FES
16. Beyond Good and Evil
17. Killer 7
18. Street Fighter Anniversary Collection
19. Devil May Cry III Special Edition
20.Yakuza 1 and 2
21. God of War 2
22. Tomb Raider Legends
23. Viewtiful Joe 2
24. Timesplitters 2
25. Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
26. Psychonauts
27. Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
28. Matrix: Path of Neo
29. Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
30. God Hand
31. Grim Grimoire
32. Urban Reign
Games that I already plan to get:
1. Arcana Hearts
2. Red Star
3. Persona 4
4. Shadow Hearts: Covenant
5. Mercenaries 2
6. Wild Arms 3
Games I am not getting:
1. Racing of any kind
2. Fire Pro Wrestling
3. Any Final Fantasy
4. Bully
5. Guitar Games
6. The Bouncer
7. Final Fight: Streetwise
I'm a pretty eclectic gameplayer. I'm looking for a good wrestling game, but no such luck so far. Fire Pro didn't do it for me. I'd prefer to avoid sequels and prequels for the most part, except where the gameplay is really good or the experience is supposed to be markedly better. Games that you enjoyed, let me know. And no, I am not moving on to a new system, I'm going to 60 games at least.

Thats what he has. I'd check out the whole GTA series, Tony Hawk : Pro Skater 3, MGS2/3 ( If you're into Metal Gear Solid games, there both great games.), Ratchet & Clank 1 ( The best of the series in my opinion), Viewtiful Joe (There is a PS2 version of it), Half-Life 1, Baldur's Gate : Dark Alliance (I'd only recommend this if you're ok with 3-D Top Down RPGs.), Jak & Daxter 1 and 2, and Soul Reaver 2 are ones that I definately recommend that are on my top 100 list.

Yeah, I'm confused on what you want us to suggest you to play.
The list is of games I already own. The second portion are games I don't own, but will be getting, and the third is games I will not buy.
I'll edit the wording to make it more obvious.

Would you consider Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 "Final Fantasy"? It has FF characters, although they're not actual FF games.
Since you had TR:Legend, I'd recommend TR: Anniversary. It's a remake/upgrade of TR1, and it's a pretty good game to buy used...it's kinda on the short side, though.
One game I really got a kick out of was Shadow of Rome. It's basically a gladiatorial combat/stealth game. Very good, and lasts longer than you might expect and stays fresh (although things get a bit surreal near the end). It's a Capcom game, if that helps. It should be pretty cheap now. It's very under-rated (just like Beyond Good and Evil). Check it out.

my collection is decidedly smaller since I got a new PS2. I have:
KOF XI
Neo Geo Battle Colloseum
Arcana Heart
Fire Pro Wrestling Returns
Art of Fighting Anthology
World Heroes Anthology
Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol.1
Sonic Riders Zero G Somethingoranother.
I guess I'd recommend NGBC. you'd also have a blast with psi ops, and why the fuck don't you have capcom vs. snk?

Einhander, if you can find it.
Edit: total fail. Not a PS2 game, I was at work alt tabbing forums and work not paying attention to the threads title. Einhander still kicks ass though.

I dunno about kingdom hearts but I've played a demo of Einhander and it's not a bad game. In fact, I think it's a shooter if I'm not mistaken... And SNK made some pretty sweet fighting games for the NEO-GEO, so if I were you, I'd pick it up. But I understand that Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, and Samurai Shodown aren't everyone's cup of tea.....
Twisted Metal: Black
Ratchet & Clank
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando(Both are better than UYA)
Jak II
Jak III
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
Sly 2: Band of Thieves
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
Contra: Shattered Soldier
Gradius V
King of Fighters 2002/2003
That's all I can think of for now.

Looking through my library, I'd recommend
Dragon Quest 8
Ico
Killzone
Onimusha 2 (never played the first one)
Star Wars Battlefront (I have 2, but I hear 1 is also good)
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

...You will. I bought my copy for $15, and that was 3 years ago.
Seconding the Xenosaga nomination (there're 3 of them and in-game benefits for starting with a save from the previous game on your memory card). and adding both lines of .//hack games.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 (although last I checked, it goes for $80 at GameStop. That's the only game of mine that has actually appreciated in value.)

all of these games are good recommendations and i have to second the KH recommendation as well. both 1 + 2 are good action RPG's.
also, the katamari games are pretty cool if you like weird games

If you're into adventure/puzzle games with a side of survival horror action, I'd recommend Silent Hill 2. You can probably find it on the cheap; I bought it three years ago for fifteen bucks.
