I recently purchased my second Sega Dreamcast. It has been about 8 years since I last played it though and that was in Japan where I was drunk half the time and really drunk the rest of the time. If anyone can throw some suggestions out on which games to start my collection over again it would be helpful. I have already picked up Capcom V. Marvel 2 as that was the best one I could remember.

MvC2, Sonic Adventure 2, and Soul Caliber were the games I played all the time. I hear Shenmue is fantastic as well.
Also, I can't remember, but I think I heard that Ikaruga was actually ported to the Dreamcast before being ported to the GCN, in which case get that too. Best autoscrolling plane game ever.

MvC2, Sonic Adventures 1+2, Shenmue, Soul Caliber, and Power Stone 2 are among my favorites.
From what I've heard, Skies of Arcadia is good too.

I always wasted all my yen collecting the stupid crap in the vending machines. Anyone ever able to chug a whole can of soda in 3 gulps like Ryo can?

Um, I'd recommend Half-Life, but I can't find that anywhere. It was supposed to be pretty good, I'd like to see an FPS done on a system like this. How the hell would you move and aim with only one analog stick and the D-pad right under it?

You should totally check out the IRC channel.
While you're at it, go check out my band, Her Majesty's Heroines.

It was fun for an hour, but it got boring after that. Should've stayed in arcades. I prefer WWF Attitute and both ECW games over it.

If you can look past the loading times, Soldier of Fortune for DC was awesome. It's a FPS. I remember it coming in to FuncoLand on a shipment, we started it up and during the loading time me and my boss were like this had better be good. I shot a guy with a shotgun and our mouths dropped to the floor.

Half Life Blue Shift was slated for a DC release, but never saw the day because of the discontinuation of the DC. It can be found on the 'net through different torrent sites however.
And Nekkoru, the DC controller sucked for FPS. Unreal tournament, while a great DC release, suffered from poor controls. The analog stick moved, the dpad selected weaps, and i believe the A and Y buttons looked up and down and the B and X was strafe. Since most players played on their PC's with a better connection than 56K, constant ass whoopage was inevitable. I'm not sure if the DC keyboard and mouse was compatible though...

royal rumble is the type of game you play with buddies while kicking back beers. the royal rumble mode is perfect for this.
