Bub=something wolverine says a lot, misproununciation of pub, short for "bubbly"

bob=name for someone generic and not too clever, somthing you do for apples, slang for fellatio?

Hmmm, so... it comes down to the fact that bubble is a real word, and bobble is not. Bub FTW.

Amusing . But, we would have to call the character baub, which is awkward. Or bab, which could work. Bubble babble sound like a fun game? I think so.

Gundam man is right, FPS avatars are designed with as little personality as possible. Theoretically, this is so you can better insert yourself into the character, and so you don't have to spend hours justifying exactly why he's running around killing whatever it is you happen to be killing.

Don't take it the wrong way. Link, patron video game god of adventure, has very little personality beyond being kind-hearted, curious, courageous, and kind of off with the whole green tights and whatnot. Thats because he is meant to be your link into the land of hyrule. And green tights are something elfs/hyrulians wear.
