I spilled half a can of Mt. Dew on my laptop last night. I cleaned most of it up as best as I could bought now the keys stick. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? This affects most keys from 7 left. This makes typing a chore and proper punctuation tough.
Can't go between keys like I would do because of how my laptop is set up.

Just run the laptop through the dishwasher. Make sure to put it on the top rack though or you might damage it.

I know that you can take apart a keyboard and clean it out, might be a little trickier with a laptop though... Confused

Just buy a new keyboard for your laptop, usually they run around 30 bucks and they are easy enough to replace yourself. Also, are you getting in audio crackling?

I've heard of this for regular keyboards... I spilled spaghetti sauce on a keyboard and a buddy of mine told me to run it through the top rack in the dishwasher. Does this really work without damaging the keyboard?

Seems like it's pretty hit-or-miss. Worked for this guy.
