I faintly remember a time in my childhood when there were these terrifying cookies with faces on them called "Giggles" cookies. Anyways, my older brothers smoked a lot of pot, and I mean a lot. I was six and they got me so baked, we sat there staring at the cookies and laughing hysterically. Now I just wish I had some now that I'm older and I have my own weed and don't have to rely on that stupid contact high crap. Pizza flavored chips (Pizzerias) are a close second...although they tasted nothing like pizza.

-Here is a commercial for said cookies, and I think the kid is about as baked as i was.

Anyone remember Undercover Bears?
It was oatmeal that looked just like regular oatmeal, but when you stirred it, gummy bears would magically appear!
Actually, that was probably a 90's food.

Planter's Cheese Balls.
Not sure if they are still made, but my house always had them when I was growing up.

I ate a lot of that Nintendo cereal. It was ok, but I couldn't help myself. Fruit Rollups would still qualify, even though they're still around.
I don't like 80s food now, it's all gone bad.

My bad King. Didnt mean to rip that, just was thinking of those damn giggles cookies...AND NOW I cant stop thinking of that candy Bonkers...I spent an hour online trying to find a way to buy that delicious candy! How can you make a delicious, addictive, fruity (or chocolate) candy that gets me hooked and then just stop??? What if crack dealers just said, sorry, but our supplier has decided to stop making crack. Would you like some weed instead? Crack heads would burn the world down. DAMN YOU NABISCO!
-P.S. King- that Image is wicked nice, Infinity Gauntlet! I have the entire collection! I love the one where Thanos killed everyone and made the surfer his slave.

Blackout, that Dr. Pepper gum was indeed shit horrible.
Also, I know everyone remembers Gak, but what about the Slime stuff that they use to sell in 25 cent machines? They stopped making it because first off it was fucking toxic, second it would stain anything that it fucking touched, and third they made some of it smell like pizza. I think Gak did that too but it wasn't toxic. Kid's died eating that shit, why not make it smell like toxic waste product that it really was?
"Oh man this goo smells like pizza, *munch munch* wait, it doesn't taste like it at all"
Then flop, little Billy is dead as hell and his parents are forever grieving and feeling like the irresponsible shit fucks that they were.

Hell yes you could eat the wrapper.
Matter of fact, it's what set the precedent for all gums after. It's why virtually every gum wrapper in stores today are edible.

I only existed in the 80's for about five days, so my favorite 80's food was probably sliced up hot dogs or apple sauce.

The best food I ever ate in the 80s was that peanut my dad's friend fed me while I was but a wee infant, and I almost choked and died, but he picked me up by the feet and smacked me on the back and I spat it out.
