I don't have a cell phone. I need a phone that has unlimited anytime long distance throughout North America and to get that on a cell phone... yeah, no thanks.

Since he's in Canada and he said "throughout," I'd imagine All three, or primarily US and Canada, unless Vald has some Mexican friends he's afraid to bring to the site.

Uh..., Canada and US. I usually differentiate between North, South, and Central America.

North America is a region and a continent. Unless you specify there will always be confusion.

Also, different countries have different opinions as to the region names and borders.
