Update: Ever since i saw that scene in crystal Skull, i couldn't wait to have it as a sig. Now the sig is complete, experiencing my thanks for remakes. So what do you think?

All that shit just to get a screen shot off media player. . . i mean f-in hell. How much crap do window users have to go through just to get shit done. Why does the picture not come up without doing all this shit? Seriously, it's crap like this that makes me wonder if owning a Mac may be worth the incompatibility shit.

okay, the instructions have helped me out before on my home computer though. I'm on my laptop . . . so . . . what's the difference! Why is neither option working. Why is media playing making me a bad person and cuss on a Sunday. I hate you bill gates, you and your incompatible logic.

The problem you're having isn't really Windows' fault. In order to take advantage of hardware acceleration, video is displayed in a separate layer from the one you capture when using the Print Screen key. That's why the video doesn't show up in the screen grabs. I don't know about Mac OS X, but I get the same result in Linux.
What you need is a video software that has a built-in screen grab functionality, like Media Player Classic or VLC.

I'm going to assume these are free, thanx tyop. But i've calm down now and luckily my home computer does not give me problems with movie screen shots. hopefully i can get the screen shot later.

I've also seen a method where you just run two videos on your computer at the same time. I think they need to be run on two different programs, such as WMP and Quicktime. Pause the one you want to screen print, while leaving the other running. It should capture the still image you want.
I forget all the details on how this exactly works, and I might be missing something, but I know I've done it that way before.

I did it manually now and still nothing . . . GAH! Could someone resize this for me, my picture editor is giving me lip.
Maybe this is not meant to be, i should just give in and put 20 mais in my sig.

I can't edit mai . . . not only is it against my fiber of being, i also discovered that photobucket just does not resize gifs. And i shrank the nuke image too small . . . and cannot grow it back . . . I'd have to upload the image again . . . Oy.

Yay . . . I would like to apologies to the mods, especially Dr. Jeebus and all of those who dared to read this thread and lost their sanity reading it.
Was the sig worth my time, patients and sanity? No, which is why i put some graffiti on it. Now i must go and put an extra Mai in the sig to make up for the one that was awesome, yet over our sig limit. And the whole time i never know . . .
