So Konami has decided to get in on the guitar game craze, unfortunately they suck at. The game has gotten universally panned. I took a look at the tracklisting and I was excited:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Revolution#Songs

Megadeth? Skid Row? Metallica? Quiet Riot? Twisted Sister? Ratt? Judas Priest? Dream Theater? Joan Jett? Lita Ford? Motley Crue? Korn? Iron Maiden? Rush? Soundgarden? Whitesnake? The Killers? Queen? Pantera? The Who? Cream? The Scorpions? The Ramones? KISS? Deep Purple? Wolfmother?

YES PLEASE.

But my excitement was quickly curbed when I learned that there are only two master tracks in the game, Linkin Park and Finger Eleven. UNACCEPTABLE.

In a day and age where GH:WT has nothing but master tracks, I don't know where Konami gets off releasing a game comprised of fucking covers.

It's a shame too. If they were master tracks, I would have bought the game, no matter how shitty it is, based entirely on the song selection.

Well, common fact is GH/RB is inspired by Konami's Guitar Freaks and DrumMania. But they were so scared for their "monies" that they didn't give 'em US home releases, back in fucking 2000.

Rock Revolution felt like a rush to cash in on the GH craze, and that speaks for it's quality. Too little, too late...

The Wii version is also motion-tastic. It's designed to use the remote/nunchuk, and unlike the other versions, it's not compatible with RB or GH guitars or drums.

I understand it, but that's because I've looked it up many times before you posted it.
