Yeah the 90s cartoon, combined with X-Men, made for the finest hour in Saturday Morning Cartoon, and Fox scheduling, history. Never again will we see such a potent combination.

QFT

Although add those together with the Animaniacs, Sam and Max, and Power Rangers, Fox would make a comeback of EPIC proportions.

Though you have to admit, the art style for Spider-Man: TAS really didn't work for the X-men in those crossover episodes.

I didn't mean that Doc Ock is a bad villain - after all, these characters are made especially so we can hate them. HATEEEEEEEEEE.

Still, I didn't like the cartoon mainly because all of the male characters had the same body build, especially in earlier episodes. The Justice League cartoon is guilty of that as well.

What really hit me were the obvious production errors, so to speak. I mean, come on. You never see Peter in anything else than that t-shirt/suit/Spider Costume, except for that one episode when he gets the Symbiote and tries to look like the guy from Aerosmith. Also, in that one episode with Sinister Six Doc Ock dresses up in a trenchcoat to pose as a doctor and lure Aunt May into a trap. Except, you know, you still can see his boots and gloves from under the coat. What kind of doctor wears a trenchcoat anyway?

Yeah, that must be annoying for Peter Parker to only have 3 outfits on a cartoon, huh Nekkoru? It's not like cartoon characters always wear the exact same thing unless they have a specific reason not to or anything.

Well, it would be nice if he got a new shirt every season or so. It must have reeked pretty badly at the end of the series.

Still, you have to wonder - how did Doc Ock hide his tentacles under that trench coat? It has been stated pretty clearly that they can't come off in the animated series. I know it was possible in both the original and the Ultimate comics, though.

He coils them around himself, it shortens them, since they are telescopic, and has them just long enough to wrap around or, have hang off his back a bit. I know I have seen this in comics before.

Everyone in the Justice League always had the same body. All the men have the exact same body and all the woman have the exact same face. Buy one of the toys one time. They are all just painted on the same blank body and given new heads and accessories.

QFT. The fact is Bruce Timm just can't seem to use more than 2 body models for either gender.

Then I never saw that episode, which means that the episode wasn't translated and I had no chance of seeing it.

The fact that Venture Brothers is on there makes Doctor Orpheus very pleased and also makes this list credible.
