Really, I don't know that I've ever thought about it before, but the Japanese love fat people. ESPECIALLY fat people who spit fire.
Karnov appears in his own title, as well as being the first boss in Bad Dudes. Final Fight and Streets of Rage had bullish charging fatties.
E. Honda I can *ALMOST* accept as coincidence, because he's a sumo wrestler...but why is a sumo wrestler taking on actual martial artists? Of course, if I ask that question I have to ask what a boxer is doing there...as well as why people can throw fire from their hands.
Master Higgins is popular. Kirby IS just a ball of fat. mario and wario haven't seen the gym in a while.
COINCIDENCE? Subtle joke about Americans' average weight? A clever ploy to take over the world while I'm concentrating on why there are so many belligerent fatties in video games?

Syd, it seems like every time there have been a shitload of posts since my last visit, after I look at a few threads, all of the forums mark thermselves unread without me doing anything. What do you think the problem is?
Also, Raiden from the SNK fighting games is a fatass. Coincedence, I don't think so.

also,raiden was made overly fat in the newer games. in his big bear days and prior, he was in some sort of shape.
