Well I just watched an episode of this, what a ridiculous show.
Has anyone else watched this? I don't know why but it really angered me. The concept is so off base it's offensive.
Benjamin Bratt plays an ex Junkie/superhero poser who gets paid to save other people from their addictions. He has some crack team of other ex junkies and, as far as I can tell, none of them have any law enforcement credentials but they have no problem strong arming drug dealer stereotypes for the greater good. Benjamin Bratt's character even paid one of them to not sell drugs to someone.
It's full of bad drama stereotypes and appears to be acted and written by people that have no clue about drug addiction. The lady that played the pill popper in the episode I just saw was especially ridiculous in her overacting. The Drug dealer was straight out of an after school special. To top it all off they had to end the show with everyone in tears of thankfulness/happiness to the tune of some soft rock song from John Mayer or some crap.
It's horribly self righteous and needs to be canceled.
