Check facts, JEW. Dracula X is a version of Rondo of Blood that was heavily altered for the SNES. Also, that PS3 commercial scared the shit out of me.

sir. dracula X is a different game entirely. it WAS what people got on SNES isntead of rondo, however. I'll give you that, but I know it was a different game, unless I can be proven wrong.

Depending on who you ask, Dracula X is either a completely FUBAR version of Rondo of Blood, or an entirely new game that borrows some elements from the PC Engine game. The way I've generally heard the story is that the SNES version was a victim of Nintendo Standards And Practices.

Rondo of Blood, more like Dondo of DUD. Just kidding I love that game. I never played as Mario really though, because his fireball and jump ability were lame. Also, did you know you can do a super move even without a weapon? It's like a giant flame whipper thing. PC Engine only PLZ.

Okay, besides the Mario thing, is that special move actually in the game?

I forgot how to do it, but it's like, a huge flame whip attack. It kinda blows because it eats a shitload of hearts, but if you're stuck on a boss fight with no weapon anyway it's okay as a last resort. I'll put a screenshot up later today.

Taken from the Japanese Wikipedia.

The first PCE core system, that came out October 30th, 1987. It was very small.^^

For a second, I thought you were posting a picture of one you owned, so I thought that meant you also had Rondo of Blood. My brain instantly said "Fuck you!".

I'm sorry. Embarrassed

When I get my preordered copy of Portrait of Sorrow, I can check the official Castlevania timeline that comes with it. Then we'll know for sure if Dracula X and Rondo of Blood are technically the same game or if Richter had to rescue his girlfriend from Dracula twice.

Rondo of Blood came first. I beat the game, so I know exactly how it went down. When you finally make it to the end of the game and beat Dracula, you go into the room directly after him, and somebody that isn't the princess is there waiting for you...

"I'm sorry Richter, but the princess is in another castle."

Dracula X takes place right after this.

He, like me, is going to Wal-Mart or somewhere on Saturday at 11:00pm to buy a Wii when midnight rolls around.

It all hinges on my friend giving me a ride, or else I'll probably end up trying to buy one over the internet. I tried that with my Nintendo DS, and it didn't work, but it turns out our local Wal-Mart had 5 or so of them, so I'm hoping the same thing happens with the Wii. It sucks that my car is in the shop, though, because the bus service here stops at 9:00pm.

I forget who gave this advice (I think it was Jeebus), but if I have to resort to online shopping for a Wii, I'm trying CompUSA first.

Wii Commercial, Wii commercial, Wii commercial! (Jumps for joy!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkS2DJ6VX_g...Enjoy!

And now the news report from IGN.

November 14, 2006 - Nintendo fans across North America have been wondering just what the Big N is up to when it comes to traditional television advertising for the Wii. While there have been plenty of viral marketing efforts on Nintendo's part, the Wii is less than a week away and there are still no television advertisements to be found.

All of that will change tonight when the first in a series of four 30-second commercials will air during the performance finals of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The ads feature two Japanese men who visit homes across America and declare: "Wii would like to play." The ads make great pains to highlight the motion-sensitive capabilities of the Wii Remote.

"The fact that we have people all but begging to see Wii commercials demonstrates the huge amount of interest in our new system," says George Harrison, senior vice president of NOA.

The commercials will also be posted on Nintendo.com and Youtube.com. Viewers can see all four of them together as a two-minute film on MTV2's Sucker Free on November 15. In an effort to further the goal of bringing the Wii to the non-gaming masses, ads will air on ABC, NBC, Comedy Central, BET, USA, TBS, Discovery, Animal Planet, ABC Family, Nick at Nite, Sci-Fi, TLC, Fox, The CW, MTV 10 Spot, MTV, MTV2, MTVU, Adult Swim, Fuse, Si TV, The N, VH-1,and Black Family Channel.

Prior to this, Nintendo had focused on viral marketing efforts such as the Nintendo Fusion Tour and the Wii Ambassador Program designed to give people hands-on play time with the console. Even as the traditional marketing campaign kicks into gear, hands-on events such as these will continue into 2007.
