I like C&C 3 Red Alert, but I still prefer the Classic C&C Red Alert more.

I spent tons of time playing the original Red Alert, but haven't played anything in the series since C&C2, which I didn't care too much for. Maybe I'll check this one out.

I loved Red Alert 1 and 2, so of course I'm looking forward to this.

Basically exactly what Gant said. I can't wait for this game. Did they get Klepacki to do the music like they were planning?
EDIT: Indeed he is. Badass.

I've got the beta key, so I'm definitely going to download the beta as soon as my vacation is over (my fast computer is at home).
With the exception of the generic Generals spinoff, the C&C games have actually been getting better ever since EA took control of the franchise. Red Alert 2 was one of my favorite games of all time, and it will be awesome to see a sequel that will drastically improve on it.

Generals isn't that bad, just really bland. The gameplay is fun, though.

Tiberium Wars was kinda boring, I got bored and gave up before beating the Skrin campaign. Red Alert 2 was awesome though, and I do love armored bears...

ok, my friend was actually in the alpha testing of RA3, and he used to be #1 in generals. but, anyhow, this game actually attracts my interest and i never played a C&C game before. so ill probably end up getting it once i get a job

Personally my favorites were:
Generals: Zero Hour
C&C I
Red Alert I
I just prefer the more realistic units, over the crazy sci-fi stuff. That's probably why I never got into Starcraft.
