I'm really smart guys. I'm going to bitch about how dumb other people look because I'm smart. I used to raise my hand in class to answer every question, and I liked to tattle on my classmates. Wah wah wah.

I haven't been in school for nearly a decade. I'm not quite sure how this is relevant. If I were to say or write 'adleast' at any job I have had, I would have been treated as though I were mentally challenged.
'adleast' is evil... this isn't about knowing how to spell. It is about evil. Pure evil.

I think it is about a pet peeve and being nit pickey. I am not a fan of adleast, but I don't care enough to bitch about it. Also, being that this is a forum to have fun on, and it being a pop culture website, this isn't a site that need be treated as a job, or too seriously in most cases. Anyone on here could get up on a high horse about any number of words used commonly on this forum, let alone the internet, that are not spelled properly. It happens, and it sucks at times, but it's not that big of a deal.

I rode a horse once about a year ago. It was fun, but my crotch and ass hurt too much after to want to make it a regular thing. I assure you that I have not been on a horse since.
More to the point. Rule #7 exists.
I didn't make it.
Many people have made the suggestion that my fight against 'adleast' is a faux pas because the premise of banning words on a privatized website is not a welcomed practice. Yet it already exists here and even has a rule number associated with it.
Therefore, to those who make this argument instead of discussing the moral dilemma that is 'adleast', I call you out. You are Hypocrites.

I say it is not hypocrisy. My argument is that if you are to complain about adleast, then I say we all complain about every word we do not like on the forum. Meaning if anyone on here does not like a spelling of certain words being incorrect or different, or doesn't like a word or phrase in general then I say everyone should post about it, and beat the dead horse of it. I say we ban words like teh, pwned, and lol. I say that we should ban all improper words, phrases or slang then as well, not because I care that much, but to appease every little whim of that, I think it would only be fair to do such a thing.

Well, I think this whole thing is silly. If people want to say adleast, let them say adleast and ignore it. I don't see the big deal, personally.
But maybe I think that way because most of my friends are teenagers, so, in most messages/texts I get from them, I would be happy for something half as understandable as "adleast".
EDIT: Ironically, this thread probably has more uses of the word "adleast" than all the other threads combined.

Listen here Jack Thompson, I am specifically targeting a letter combination that has been brewed out of vile hatred and contempt for humanity. I am trying to fix the evil. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill and trying to make this into something much more general for your own desires rather than the good of the people.
Shame on you.

But I think you, making a case out of one word is for your own interests, not the general well being of the people. I mean why that one word, adleast? It isn't that it is an offensive word other then you don't like it. By that I mean, it does not refer to, or dehumanize a person or group of people in it's inherent meaning. I am merely defending that it doesn't matter, you brought up the issue and created the mountain. I am only trying to chip it into a mole hill.
P.S. I apologize for my previous misspelling, and have since corrected it. Thank you.

It's not for his own interests. I'd like to see this word banned as well.

The issue at hand is that it has gained recognition as a word. 'adleast' should be no different than 'oiuyyt' or 'njnjha'. It is nonsense. However this nonsense has spread and is now an evil nonsense.
It isn't about me. It isn't about any individual. It is about stopping the evil. When 'adleast' is used, it is offensive and does target a person or group. It targets everyone who knows how to read. It should be offensive to you because it mocks you.

Adleast doesn't mock me for the sheer reason I don't give a shit about it. Pwned offends me, teh offends me, but again I don't care enough about them to think they should be banned. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean it should be banned. Also, they way the english language works, it offends itself by including words into it that it bans until then accepted. Whereas I do not want adleast in the dictionary, I don't think it matters all that much. If this word gets banned then I will, and encourage others to, start fighting to have a long list of phrases and words banned on the principal of it. Am I being an ass in going too far if adleast was banned, maybe, but I think it only fair that if something so trivial gets banned, that all words anyone hates should be banned then since the precident would be set.

If this was a real argument, then it is the flimsiest argument I have ever seen. If it is a joke, then it's one of the least funny I've ever seen.
Nobody is recognizing it as a word. It is just being tolerated, by people who don't give a shit.
This thread is so ridiculous it's mind-boggling. It hurts to read this drivel way more than adleast, and I know officially announce my abandon of this thread. Have fun talking in circles.
