I am a computer guy and this is a great deal if your needing to upgrade your computer soon for the cheap. It isnt a Core 2 Duo or Quad but its alot cheaper than shittier single core Celerons and Semprons that are going up to 20 bucks higher in different places. The reason I post this is that its impossible to find a processor this good for this cheap, it even was going for like 25 dollars shipped about a month ago with the promo code and has been selling like wildfire. I suggest getting one because CPU chips this good are normally not this cheap anywhere. You can even overclock the damn thing easy.

the promo code to get the 8 dollars off from the 39.95 is AMD1068

This is a great deal for a budget chip. But, keep in mind, this IS a budget chip. You want to build a base line PC for work or school. Get it. You want something to game on, then look in the $100+ price range.

Also, this is an AM2+ socket chip, so if you don't already have an AM2+ motherboard, there is no justificatoin in buying both.

I would rate this chip a 7 out of 10.

PROS:
Good power consumption rate
Dual Core
Almost dead even with a Core 2 Duo E2160. (Which costs about $10 more)

CONS:
Slow speeds
Low L2 Cache
Weak Gaming Performance
Weak Multimedia Performance
