Bad Dudes was covered in NP's Playback section several months back, and it says it was released for the NES in '89. Is that a better source?

As I have seen the ending to Mega Man 9, I can, with full authority, make the following correction.
(Okay, deep breath, jprime. You've been rehearsing this. Snifffffff...)
Bullshit NES Endings: Mega Man & Bass should go between Mega Man 8 and Mega Man 9.

Still a side game though, and not part of the main series.

goddam is an accepted spelling of the contraction of "God" and "damn" and that is the spelling I always use. I believed I picked it up from Stephen King.

I think we need a Sydapedia article called "The way Syd does it".
We'll dedicate it to your quirks and honor it with Sydlexian traditions.
Eventually we'll have a holiday based around it and take the day off from school.
Years later it will be recognized outside of the US and it will be the first universal holiday. Even terrorists will recognize it and...
I'm going to just start the article with this quirk.
Edit: Done. http://history.sydlexia.com/index.php?title=Syd_Lexia%27s_Quirks

You should include how he always uses "the" as his definite article of choice.
Or that he writes about videogames. Quirky.

I think he's talking about Profanity in SydLexia.com articles, there's a comment on the article's talk page that I missed. I checked the article with five different browsers and it looks fine in each. Dunno what the problem is.

I fixed it by defining the font color in the table. I think GP may have fucked with the CSS too.

The respected psychologist Carl Jung once stated the following: "The ability to quote pop culture is what separates us from dogs." At least, I'm pretty sure it was him. If it wasn't, he's fucking dead, so there's really nothing he can do to stop me from attributing the quote to him. And regardless, whether Carl Jung really used this himself or I made it two minutes ago, it's absolutely true. When two dogs meet, they sniff each others' asses to determine whether or not they are friend or foe. With the notable exception of San Franciscans, people have evolved past such callous practices. Instead, we determine whether or not another human being is worthy or our attentions by testing them with pop culture quotes and references. For example, when you move into you first college dorm you might quote Family Guy to break the ice with your roommate. This will be effective in easing any tensions, because even complete douchebags like Family Guy. However, such quotes will be ineffective be ineffective in gauging your overall compatibility with this individual. For that, you will have to start slowly moving away from present pop culture and into the pop culture of the recent past.
A typical progression might be The 40 Year- Old Virgin, Seinfeld, the good seasons of The Simpsons, Billy Madison, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and finally Labyrinth. If the other individual is able to match you quote for quote in your pop culture of choice, friendship is immediately at hand. If they are not, your future interactions may be considerably less pleasant. This lesson holds true within specialized communities as well, so a Magic: The Gathering player who stares blankly at his peers while they discuss cards printed before 2003 is likely to be ostracized from the group. Videos games are also not the exception.
Woe be to the gamer whose gaming life started with the PlayStation 2 and who remains blissfully unaware of the things that came before; you will be ripped to shreds on the first video game forum you join. But that doesn't have to be the case. You still have time to learn, and I have compiled this list of NES quotes to help you do so or just that.
So what are we going to learn today? Hopefully nothing. If you consider yourself to be a serious gamer, then you should already know all or most of these classic NES quotes. Of course, there's a chance you might have forgotten some of them over the years, so consider this your refresher course. And if you're a newer gamer who missed out on the whole NES era, then welcome to Introduction to Video Games. This is a full credit college course. There will be three exams during the semester. You will also be required to type a ten page paper, which must be handed in on or before the the final day of class.

I just read the article and it was great. There were actually a few I've never heard and I'll need to go through those games.
I made some notes on typos, if you wanted to fix them. The earlier may have been correct above by Douche... I haven't read through it so sorry for any redunancies. Also, the [s]s were supposed to be striked out, but it's not supported or different.

nesquotes5:
But then you moved forward too quickly an[d] those Zs over his head disappeared.
newquotes9:
When the [game?] came to the NES, Nintendo of America decided to censor his name.
but because his alcohol-related name might corrupt teh childrens - [I'm guessing the "teh" was on purpose, but thought I'd note it anyway]
...sugar and caffeine; he's completely fuck[s]ed[/s]ing sauced
nesquotes10:
Suddenly his ninja sense tingle[s]: someone else is in the room! Ryu readies himself for battle[s]s[/s] - [This is grammatically correct, just not used often as a plural in that context, so I'm assuming it was a mistake.]
I shouldn't belittle women and write them [off] as harmless
But now that I've been awakened to the possibility tha[s]n[/s]t any given girl

At least, it wouldn't be if that bastard actually bothered to fix his it - ["fix it himself" I'm guessing?]
newquotes11
Still, the game [s]introduce[/s] did introduce the basic RPG elements that would later be reintroduced and perfected in Symphony of Night, so you shouldn't hate on it too hard and personally, I never had any real problem [with] it.

Actually, that wasn't a typo. It was indeed supposed to be "mused" not "used".
muse - v. - to comment thoughtfully or ruminate upon.
