That entire site reeks of Nintendo fanboyism. However, it is ironic as hell that anyone remotely involved with Sony would be commenting on the price of another console. I guess it just goes to show how far their finger is from the pulse of the common consensus.

In Japan, the Wii will cost 25,000 yen ($215.)
Stateside, $250 and bundled with Wii Play.
Europe and UK: 249 Euros and 179p respectively.
Playstation 3!
In Japan, PS3 will cost 49,980 ($418) for the Basic package, and for the Premium package, Sony is keeping an "Open Price" policy with Japanese retailers (like Rakuten, Yodobashi, and the like.)
Stateside, $499 and $599 respectively.

One thing though, in his defense, though is comment was pretty stupid.. he was arguing taht performance per dollar makes it pricy ..
for example if two people were selling cars he was selling a mercedes for 300thousand, adn someoen else was selling a sh!tty car for 50 grand.... he might say the other car "pricy"
but whatever he's full of himself and NINTENDO all the WAY : )

Please, don't censor your curses! It's not so much an issue of self censorship, but replacing a letter with a "!" symbol in a sentence wrought with misspellings already is just murder on the eyes! It's like an annoying, rapid flashing gif image!

I guess Sony is above such criticism. I mean, it's not like the PS3's prize climbed up several hundred dollars just because it didn't want to be a mere gaming console, but a Blu-ray supporting superhyper multimedia entertainment center thingy with ability to play video games.
