I could go either way with both DS systems, but I still have the bulky one. I'm gonna keep that thing until it dies, or at least until Nintendo makes a whole new handheld.

iPhone games are what you play when you can't get at actual games. You know, like how sometimes alcoholics drink mouthwash.

Sonic Chaos on the Game Gear. In the early 90's, I got a Game Gear for my birthday one year with that and Mortal Kombat (which was also pretty fun). Sonic Chaos was short but sweet, and to this day, it's still my favorite GG game.

However, I hardly ever experienced true portable gaming on the GG, due to its shitty battery life. It was plugged into an outlet in my bedroom 95% of the time I played it.

Don't feed a rabbit Trix. It will harass kids for more.

First I had a really cool LCD handheld called Road Race or something. Then my dad stepped on it because I was a dumbass and left it on the floor. LCD handhelds were popular in my family. You needed something to do in the car on long trips. I had a bunch of the casino ones, a blackjack and a slots one. A sonic tiger handheld game which was entertaining. I remember a classmate of mine in grade school had a game boy and another had a MK handheld game. So, I suppose that's how I got into portables. They're sweet, and you can sneak in a quick game whenever you need it. The first real handheld I owned (my brother had a game boy that me and my younger bro would play once in awhile) was a indigo game boy advance with pokemon crystal or something. I think i bought it freshmen year in college because I didn't have a ps2 or an xbox of my own, so I needed something to pass the time when I was bored senseless. I don't have many games, probably six, and I knew of some more good games besides the good games I already have or have played. When the advance sp came out I didn't fret, a buddy of mine had one and I preferred the original over the sp. So to sum it up, LCD handhelds, Gameboy, and then I bought an Advance and don't have a lot of games. My wrists are hurting, maybe I shouldn't type such long posts.

I did own an original Game Boy before, but I never played it too much and Super Mario Land and Tetris were the only games I played on it usually. I really got into portables when I played Wario Land 3, my god that was a classic it was also the game that got me to love Wario and made him a favorite of mine ever since.

It's awesome to see such an awesome array of portable love. I must add that Tetris and Mega Man III (the Game Boy version) also added to my love of portable. Also, the Final Fantasy Legend series caught my attention - I beat FFL2 in about 6 hours after borrowing it - and the Final Fantasy Adventure got me hyped toward hack-n-slash games. I later LOVED Secret of Mana. I remember the commercials for that game, they were so subtle. Diablo then got me into the mainstream, but I will never forget Final Fantasy Adventure.
