So apparently Comcast fucked something up and my Internet is dead. They reset the signal, but no luck. My cable modem might be dead. They are sending a technician on Friday. So I can't update the site until then, but I can post on the forums from my phone.
I should have a new article up on Friday though. I had hoped to have it up on Wednesday.

Which modem do you have? RCA / MOTOROLA / etc.
With or without Phone?
Also, did you do a complete powercycle on the modem?
Unplug it from the power. Wait 30 seconds, plug it back in.
Then pull a fresh IP with your PC.
Press "Windows Key" + R
Type "cmd" and press enter.
At the command prompt, type "ipconfig /release", press enter.
Then type, "ipconfig /renew"
See if that does anything.

Already tried the unplugging and refreshing, that usually works. I'm not a complete idiot, you know. :p
I have a motorola cable modem and a linksys router. Modem is not working with router or when plugged directly into a computer.

Syd, most likely it is fucked.
But... try this anyways.
Unplug the whole setup for 10 minutes. EVERY cable. Including the cable wire, power, and Ethernet.
Turn off the computer and router.
After 10 minutes plug in the router.
Wait 1 minute and plug the cable wire into the modem, then the Ethernet cable, then the power.
Wait 2 minutes.
Turn on the computer.
Sometimes it is the order of operations that fucks things up. Also, you might be able to drive to a Comcast location to pick up equipment.
Edit: I should point out that this has fixed broken setups for me on multiple occasions when I have done home network installations.

No luck. But I was always taught to plug the router in last.

The router is not the issue, since Syd cannot even get a connection going straight from the PC to the modem. It sounds like it is, in fact, a bad modem.

Comcast insists that the signal us broadcasting fine, and the modem lights for POWER, SEND, RECEIVE, and ONLINE are all solid green. But yeah, it's gotta be a modem problem cuz it won't work on a direct line. I've tried three separate Ethernet cables too, so it's not the physical cable.
And I'm using the iPhone to post.

No matter what you do/say, they will INSIST on not replacing your modem unless it is the very last scenario. Their modems are free to replace - make sure they don't leave without getting you a new one.

The modem caches the mac address of the last directly connected device.
This means that if the last device was a router, to get the computer working on it, you must disconnect the modem for 1 full minute prior to plugging it into the computer.
I don't know why they work this way, but they do.

The new modems are even worse. (The huge ones that have the internal batteries and comcast phone service.)
It took me 3 hours to get the damn thing to work with my router. It apparently knew it was plugged into a router and refused to give it an IP.
I finally hooked it straight into one my PCs. Pulled an IP, then cloned the MAC address of the PC to the router and then plugged the modem into the router. Basically, I had to trick the modem into thinking that it was still connected directly to my PC in order for it to give out an IP to the router.

I got the modem to work earlier plugged directly into my sister's laptop. Still can't make it work with the router.

So here's the deal. Comcast fucked my area's connection early Monday morning. I have been internet-less since then, despite multiple attempts to reset the modem. I completely disconnected the router and modem for 9 hours while I was at work yesterday. Got home, reconnected the modem and plugged my sister's lappy into it. It worked. So I tried the router. It didn't work. Or so I thought. My sister was connecting to a network called linksys, which I assumed was a neighbor's. But then I noticed it was hella fast and it died when the router was plugged. Turns out whatever Comcast did fucked up my router, and I had to reconfigure it. So now the laptop and by dad's computer are back on the network. But mine can't connect. Connectivity was never a problem for me before, so I'm completely frustrated. I've tried my wireless adapter on other computers, and the adapter isn't the issue. ideas?

To sum up what you just said.
The router has been reset and now that you have reconfigured it, everyone but you can connect to it just fine.
Start by letting us know what brand and model wireless adapter you have. Same for the router if you don't mind.

adapter is linksys WUSB11, no version given.
Router is something like linksys W54WS, no version given. Not home, can't check.
My dad's comp uses the exact same adapter and is working fine. I have interchanged the two, no change in detection.

On a working computer download the drivers from the Linksys website for that adapter.
On your computer delete/uninstall the drivers through the control panel.
Reboot
Install the new drivers
Reboot
Report.
Edit: Wait. Did you mean that your router was a WRT54GS?

Probably. It's a 2.4 GHz router.
Here's the thing, there's like ten versions of the adapter drivers depending on which version of the hardware I have. And my adapter doesn't specify which version it is.

My internet used to be spotty as hell. I remember last summer the damn thing went out for a month. Can't complain now, though.
