So my sleep schedule has always been interesting one way or another, but lately I have been finding myself waking up feeling fully rested after 5 hours or so, when I was to sleep 10-12 on most days. I have been unemployed for a month, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I don't think so. I also went from being a 4AM to 2PM sort of system because of my work schedule, but now I am sleeping more like 1AM-6AM. I think I like this schedule better.

So I guess I was just thinking about how much everyone else sleeps. Other than sex its one of the great free pleasures, and its a little less private, so lets hear what you all think about it.

I tend to go to bed around 11:00PM and wake up around 5:00AM to go to work. The nice thing about my schedule is I'm done working by 2:00PM and have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. But it takes me a good 1-2 hours to get going in the morning... certainly not a morning person.

I'm pretty varied, but during school the general trend is I go to bed at midnight-ish and get up around 7am. On the weekends, I go to sleep a bit later (maybe 2 in the morning?) and get up around noon.

By the way, DoctorOrpheus, I love the sig. Very Happy

My sleep schedule used to be all kinds of messed up. Monday - Thursday would be 1am - 7am, Friday would be a 25 hour day, Saturday and Sunday I'd sleep from 8am - 4pm, then I'd go back to bed sometime Monday morning, usually after 1am, to be up at 7am again.

Really, it depends on if I have to go to school that day or not.

My metabolism is all kinds of fucked up. I can go to sleep at 10PM and end up waking up and 11-12 the next day.

I smoke too much.

Same here and I don't like it. I've been trying to get to sleep around 12:30 and wake up around 8-9ish, but something always distracts me around midnight.

In bed at 11pm, waking up at 6am/7am/8am/10am depending on the day.

Did you know, that when you sleep for less than four and a half hours, you're more tired than before going to sleep?

Needless to say, a human needs at least seven hours of sleep daily.

EDIT: I actually wrote this after waking up. My snuff addiction is nothing compared to this SLF addiction I have.

You should totally check out the IRC channel.

Since I've been between jobs, I've been going to bed at least 4AM and getting up near or after noon. I can't wait to get a job and rectify this. Partying doesn't help either.

There was a period for about since months right after high school that I was getting up at 6PM and then being up through the night, mainly because I didn't have to deal with anybody. Nick at Nite was great because that was around the time they started showing Murphy Brown on there.

RIP Hacker.
