so.... i was hungover this morning, and i decided to stop at the am/pm on the way to work and bought one of these:
a bloody mary usually helps, but since my options are limited i got this. and a manually made one (instead of one in a can) always helps me.
anyone have these? any thoughts?
it might be more suited to the latin crowd but i still like these a lot and i feel a ton better.

Wow, someone actually bought one. I mean, clamato and beer is pretty good, but thats got to be the nastiest canned beverage I've ever seen in my life.

I guess I probably would never prefer to drink what is in that can - but I would give it a try just to see what it is like. Whats the % of alcohol in it anyway?

You fixed a hangover on your way to work by drinking?
What do you do for work?

They say the best way to cure a hangover is to start drinking.

Which is true, until you get another hangover later in the day. Drink water and eat something before sleeping the night before and you will be fine.

Ive never gotten a hangover from having one beer and then going to bed 16 hours later, but I guess it could happen. Water is good in a sense, but you need to replenish electrolytes and active enzymes in order to truly reduce a hangover. Eating foods rich in collagens is the best cure, such as pork belly, which is what bacon is made from! Also the nightshade acids in hot and belle peppers, eggplants and tomatoes also help flush that shit out of your body.

I am not a fan of Tomato Juice, let alone adding clam to it, and then Budweiser, uh no. As far hang over cure, My best advice is this. Drinking plenty of gatorade, powerade, or if you can get it Pedialyte, before going to bed. As well eat some high fiber bread if you can. Next morning, you need to take a mega dose of Vitamins E, B12, and C. Then I would also take an ephedrine or diet pill and or slug down and energy drink. Follow this up by eating some turkey, no huge amount though, and drinking Grapefruit juice. The vitamin combo helps to give you energy and purify you a bit, the turkey is the protein for your body to snack on instead of the alcohol molecules, and the Grapefruit Juice has enzymes in it that help your liver to process and get rid of the alcohol faster and more effiecently.
Edit: Or you can do what I did when I was like 19-22. Drink a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade, and smoke a pack of Camel Wides.

Just take one of those no-hangover pills when you drink.
Or advil.
Or coffee...
But drinking before work????

Just get drunk enough that you throw up before going to bed. Worked for me and works for a friend of mine. Don't force yourself to do it, just drink so much your stomach can't handle it...that may be bad advice, but I'm not sure it's as bad as drinking and driving to work.

I am disgusted by clamato, so I figure I would not like this. Clam juice is nasty. However, this can't be as bad as the budweiser energy drink they made for a while. That thing was the worst liquid I've ever consumed.

I just order a bloody beer with clamato at the bar or make one myself. I would never buy one already in the can. That's just nasty.

yeah, "natural flavor" usually indicates the presence of MSG or some type of Glutamate.

yeah, a hangover for most people means they are usually just dehydrated. a quick gatorade or a pedialyte and they're set.
in my case, i was a bit hung over, but i know my body well enough to realize that i was also gonna have some bad withdrawals later on that day, so a beer to ease my body off the withdrawals helps.
and i work at a call center, but after that beer, i got to work and drank a ton of water. so i was doing well for the rest of the day

Anyone get the alcohol % on this yet? I'm betting less than a beer. Initial guess would be around 3-4%

Fuck this shit. If you really want a bloody beer you should just run out and buy a case of your favorite beer and some tomato juice or clamato and make them yourself. This pre-canned shit makes me wretch. If I were to make one, it would be Old Style with spicy clamato or tomato juice. That'd be tasty.

Blech, Icehouse tastes worse than a sweaty nutsack. I prefer The Beast Ice if I'm drinkin' Ice beer.

So let me get this straight, if you came over for a beer and I offered you an icehouse, you'd politely decline and ask me to drop my pants?

Only if your nutsack is sweaty. Otherwise the answer is no.
