Today's the day it finally arrives! Unfortunately I don't have my Wii at this moment. Who's played it and what are your thoughts on it?
|
Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom. |

Even though the process is automated, games don't hit the VC until Nintendo's Redmond, WA offices open at 9 AM PST, which is 12 PM EST, which means instead of playing it now, I have to wait until fucking 6 PM EST when I get out of work. And by then, I'll probably be too tired and hot to continue.

At least you are able to access the Internet on your Wii, which I can't.

Nowhere too terrible but after a 9 hour day, I don't know how high of a priority MM9 will be.

Anyone going to try and find one of the pre-release packages on ebay? I'm tempted, but I bet they will be more than I am willing to pay. Theres 1000 in circulation, though, so they could be affordable.

Okay, I have it on my Wii. I haven't finished it yet, but I have ascertained the order. I hope you apperciate it, because I got A LOT of Game Overs for it.
Spoilers:
Hornet Man
Splash Woman
Concrete Man
Galaxy Man
Jewel Man
Plug Man
Tornado Man
Magma Man
P. S. Shield weapons? Grossly underrated.

I got it immediately and have been playing for a while. I got to the last boss, but unfortunately, I didn't bring any energy reserves with me. Now I'm going to go through the Wily stages again after a trip to the shop.
The game overall is amazing, and it's a real challenge. Speaking of challenges, some of the in-game tasks are damn near impossible. Beat the game without getting hit?! GEEEZ

Also Jeebus, it's 1000 points, which is 10.50 USD.

Here is my bedroom, and $10.50 doesn't sound bad at all, especially if it has ridiculous playability. Are there like save states or anything for doing the "don't get him" challenge?

So PlugMan's weapon isn't SplashWoman's weakness? God dammit.

Wouldn't that be a human's weakness? Electricity doesn't do anything to water except, make it electrified water and lets say its a giant pool and you jump in. Who do you thinks gonna get hurt, you or the water from the electricity?

So guys, how many things did you have to delete to free up enough space to play this?

I had to move ActRaiser to an SD card.
Speaking of which, ActRaiser takes up 45 blocks, MM9 takes up 66. Go figure.

Sorry to get nerdy, but contrary to popular belief, water doesn't conduct electricity...salt water does.
But since most water isn't pure and has some salt in it (even what we consider "Fresh water" (relative)), most water conducts electricity.
If the water however was completely purified, it would not conduct electricity.
