Anyone who was born in the 1983-1989 years almost undoubtedly remembers seeing Jurassic Park in theatres and being thrilled, and then a lot less thrilled when they went to see the lost world a few years later. Let's not even talk about the third one. But now a fourth?

I'm sad they ditched the dinosaurs-with-guns plot that was in one of the drafts. That was cinematic gold.

I thought the second one was ok, I loved seeing the T-Rex kickin ass in a big city, however the first is still the best. I heard they are bringing back alot o the original cast for the fourth, including the young girl from the first JP. I think it could be interesting.

Yeah, she was a year or two older than me when that came out, and I always thought she was a babe. The second one was *alright*, but it just wasn't as cool to me. At the time I thought it was great, I just mean in retrospect it is very lacking compared to this first one. Kind of like the relationship of Three Ninjas and Three Ninjas Kick Back.

Where did you hear that? AFAIK only Laura Dern is rumored to be attached to the project, while Sam Neill is said not to return. They don't even seem to have a finished script. So I doubt this whole thing is true. At best they're doing some second unit shooting.

Lost world sucked because when you think about it everything went wrong because of the presence of the main characters. If they would have never gone to the island then we would have a perfectly safe dinosaur park in San Diego.
III, I don't even remember III. It was forgettable, which is one of the worst things you can declare a movie.

Awh, that was the only thing that remotely peaked my interest in this abomination. the guys who made Dino-Riders must have threatened to sue.
I think they should just keep it at three, there are enough 20-years-later sequels to make future generations cry . . . and current

Too bad they got rid of the guns. Then they could have moved on to planes. Finally T-Rexes in F-2s! One of the best Calvin and Hobbes strips come to life.
Plus the videogame's multiplayer would have been fun as hell.

Nah, they reportedly ditched it because of the negative reaction after the premise leaked. Or maybe they just sobered up.
