I fucking hate nervous characters, It is such a shitty attempt at trying to inject human emotion and awkwardness into a movie characters role. My number one example is Jeff Goldblum. I don't hate the man, but I hate almost every single character he has played. The twitchy, awkward, sweating, smart, semi-smiling twit. Woody Allen is a good director, but I've never enjoyed seeing him onscreen for the same reason.

Marge: Anyone see that new Woodsy Allen movie?
Ned: I like his films, but I can't stand that nervous fella who's always in them.

Adam Goldberg plays, and I believe is, one of the most nervous fucks every, in the history of nervous fucking guys, ever. I mean look at his characters Mike from Dazed & Confused, Jerry in the Prophecy, Eddie on a couple episodes of Friends, Private Stanley in Saving Private Ryan, Dr. Denny in Deja Vu etc. The movie I did really like him in though was the Hebrew Hammer.

That guy is awesome. I also remember him in an episode of Space: Above and Beyond. He was again a nervous fuck, but died pretty fast because he loved his tank too much.

i would say ben stiller, idk for some reason he always looks nervous in his movies. i always comment how he plays the same fucken character essentially and he always has these moments where its like a cluster fuck of an embarassing moment, and i dont know how to explain this any better s i wont...actually come to think of it im not sure hes really all that nervous afterall,... oh well, im tired of writing.. the end.

Ben Stiller really isn't that funny unless other people write his physical comedy antics. He's alright, I just don't consider him a beacon of comedy hope and I've actually enjoyed him in movies where he's not as funny, like "Keeping the Faith".

His dad Jerry is a natural comic genius though.

He's hilarious, talented, and does have a great voice, hence he's done voice acting work before (Duckman FTW!)
