BBBYpsi posted this on the ESPN NFL board. The thread was titled "non-partisan thinking?"

Quote:
President's Pension

A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year, until he is 80 years old.

Assuming the next president lives to age 80, Senator McCain would receive ZERO pension, as he would reach 80 at the end of two terms as president.

Senator Obama would be retired for twenty-six years after two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension.

Therefore, it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November.

How's that for non-partisan thinking?

Five millions is nothing anymore. That is, if were going to cut waste, we have much better places to do it.

Well, what made the post priceless for me was the fact that for whatever reason, the NFL board is always flooded with political trolls who are either far right or far left and are really serious. There is actually more political posts than football. Then this guy come on and makes the perfect smartass post.

Think about all the money a presidential funeral would cost. Sure, the actual funeral bills would be taken care of by the family, but in the end it would still cost us a lot. That said, the likelihood of mccain dying of old age as president probably isn't that different from the likelihood of Obama being killed by wannabe revolutionaries. I say that with a little bit of humor and a little bit of sadness.
