I honestly can't get myself to spend money on a soccer game. Maybe if a great Wii hockey game came out... I could get into that.

I really want Pikmin 3 damnit, the wii setup is perfect for the franchise. Also a new Zelda would be slick, one built from the ground up for the wii.

Pikmin 3 is coming. No word on a release date though. Nintendo has promised us more "core" franchises before the end of the Wii. I believe Pikmin 3 and a new Star Fox are the two main names being bandied about, besides the persistent Kid Icarus and Punch-Out rumors. There's also been rumors of another Mario platformer or Luigi's Mansion 2.

I heard about Pikmin 3, and the Kid Icarus rumors have been flying around forever, I just want some confirmation damnit. We better get another Zelda on this console's life, GC got two as did the 64.

GC didn't REALLY get two. For all intents and purposes, they got Wind Waker and that was it. A post-Wii port of Twilight Princess hardly counts.
And with the N64, while I love Majora's Mask, a lot of people don't consider it a true Zelda game, largely because it was about half as long as Ocarina.

I've actually been pretty engrossed in playing Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon.

There's certainly enough challenge with some of the dungeons. Like one where everyone's at 1 HP (and you can;t bring in any items [including equipment] or gil. The storyline ain't half bad either.

Yea but most of the Twilight Princess development was on the GC. Much of the wii motion and IR controls were tacked on towards the end of development. Even the graphics are not as polished as they could be, and TP being developed as a GC game is reflective of this. As much as I like the Twilight Princess, a ground up Zelda on the wii would be incredible (and deserved).

I did some research on it. It is a shooting game. I would be so bored after about 5 minutes.
Its just not my type of thing.

The thing I like about Ghost Squad the most, is that you don't have to be excellent at it in order to unlock all the different playable aspects. To me, that highly encourages replay value. I'm so sick of games where in order to unlock shit you have to be so great at it you can post youtube videos showing how great you are. Fuck that shit. That's where tourneyfags come from.

I even know that and I don't play Sonic games that often. You have to get an A for each and every level.

In order to feel satisfied with the core games, I'd like to see
Another Zelda game
Another Mario game
A Star Fox game
A Kid Icarus game
Anything else is extra (punch-out, Paper Mario, etc).

Now I feel good not knowing that. I still don't know it, because I forgot the idiotic bullshit you typed after reading it.

Seriously. Mario wasn't shipped until a year plus into the life of the system. They take way too much time to polish off the big name games like that. We may see another Zelda since the first one didn't really take advantage of all that the Wii had to offer. But not another Mario.

Ironically, Mario is the one they've explicitly said they're working on.

Yeah... I'd say there is about the same chance of that happening as M3GA MAN getting laid.
