There's a report that claims that Arnold will be involved after all - kinda. It says that a digital rendering of his face will replace that of actor Roland Kickinger and that Arnold will provide voice over: http://latinoreview.com/news/the-dark-knight-meets-mr-freeze-5357.

I remain unconvinced until there's an official confirmation of this.

Linda Hamilton's involvement in "Terminator Salvation" has been confirmed or so claimed CHUD. In its latest report about the highly anticipated sci-fi action thriller, the trade has made public that Hamilton has agreed to read for the film, adding further that her Sarah Connor voice over is already cut into the film.

Writing down its source's confirmation of the matter, CHUD noted, "Hamilton's voice over is in the film, and that it works very well in context." It then continued explaining more of Hamilton's part, "Her voice over is not long, and it comes at the very beginning of the movie; the source compared it in tone and style to her voice over in T2."

Back in mid-February, Linda Hamilton has said in an interview with MTV that she is in talks to reprise her role in the McG-directed action thriller. "We are talking," she fessed up at the time. "I haven't read it yet. I don't know what direction they will go in. My contribution would be voiceover. I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They're already writing it. We've been negotiating it."

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, "Terminator Salvation" is the fourth feature film installment in the "Terminator" franchise. It follows a stranger whose past could not be justified, Marcus Wright, as he joins John Connor, the man whose fate is to lead the resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.

Starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington as John Connor and Marcus Wright respectively, it will see Moon Bloodgood, Common, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard and Helena Bonham Carter among the cast. The Warner Bros. movie itself is slated to be released in the U.S. on May 21.
