So the other day my wife is going through her belongings at her old house and comes across some stuff that she saved a long time ago.

Then she finds something of interest. With a big grin she handed it to me.

I used to love the Bazooka Joe comics. Especially the ones with half the comic cut off so you don't know what the hell's going on.

My favorite part of this is that it looks like it was taped together in that scan.

She used to have it taped onto the side of her desk or something and then took it down. She put it away for safe keeping but couldn't take the tape off without ripping it. So the tape has stayed. I thought about trying to clean it up before scanning, but I think the fact that she had it posted up in front of her makes it even better.

Also, this isn't the full sized scan. Here it is in full size:

Hmmm... Bazooka Joe RAPS? But, his rap name is MetalDude? Can we find out if this comic pre-dated the whole Limp Bizkit/Korn rap-rock craze of the late 90s? If so, thanks a fuckin' million Bazooka Joe.

Asshole.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

I found this:

I think this wrapper was from the early 90's.

They should make a Bazooka Joe movie.

Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.
