anyone into pure pwnage?

anyone have thoughts on what the series is doing now and the direction they are taking?

or am i the only one who cares for it?

You really don't like using capital letters do you? At first, I didn't think it was a series or anything and that you were asking a general question.

yeah.... i kind of type just how i IM... so it pretty much means getting rid of most punctuation rules...

anyhow... their website... www.purepwnage.com

it has all their episodes and you can stream them from that same website or download the torrent file...

i personally think it was funny in the first couple of episodes and then it just tried to get too story driven but it just didnt work out as well...

still kind of funny though...

It kind of blows. Basically the main character acts like one of the dickweeds you meet on Xbox Live.

I watched Season 1 a while ago. It was interesting, but not enough to bring me back for another round.

I don't get it, he isn't parodying yahtzee as much as ripping him off entirely. As if you wanted to pay tribute to spider man but having the adventures of spiderguy which would be just the entire first appearance of spider man but with a different name.

well, these guys got a TV show now. on SHOWCASE. im assuming thats a canadian channel. good for them. apparently they have 8 episodes premiering in 2010. my only concern is that they will now be censored and the episodes will be shorter. so thats unfortunate.

and RIP T-Bag.

Pure Pwnage is good, but I'm worried about the series now that Troy (who played T-Bag) has sadly died.

How are they going to work it out?

they had to rewrite the whole rest of the season. my buddy is friends w/jaret and his death ruined all the scripts they had planned.

I've been a fan of PP for about a year now and it's great to see them get a TV show out of it. According to a blog post from Jarret from last month (that seems to have disappeared from their front page now) they've been having quite a lot of troubles since Troy died with motivation to continue the series and depression hitting everyone hard, and also some people moving on to different projects. Also Geoff (who plays Kyle and is the director/camerman) left the series to focus on other things leaving Jarret alone to run the show which he wasn't too keen on doing. I'm not sure if Geoff will be part of the TV show or not, but it seems like the web series as we knew it is pretty much dead at this point with them focusing on the TV show now.
