I don't know if this has been brought up on here or not. Does anybody know anything about this game? It sounds awesome. But as far as I know it is only being released for cell phones. I don't even know if it was released in NA or not. Does anybody know anything about it? Any plans to port it to any consoles? I know they released a free download and you have to purchase the additional chapters via subscription. So that may pose problems if they decided to port it on a console, especially a portable where it would probably be best.

I haven't heard of this? What's the premise? Does it follow Cecil, Rosa, et al? Or does it involve the awakening of Golbez and FuSoYa?

It also appears to only be available in Japan.
Hopefully they'll put the full game on XBLA or Wii Ware someday. I want a new sprite-based Final Fantasy goddammit!

Go to the Wikipedia article. There's no "hopefully" about it. The game we're talking about is both 2D and sprite-based.

Yeah, it sounds bad ass, doesn't it?
I was looking at the wikipedia on FFIV for whatever reason, and I noticed the info about the sequel. I'd say that IV was one of the more popular NA releases due to the fact that it was only one of three of the first six games actually released here. They don't mind shoving remakes down our throats. Can't they at least grace us with the sequel?

Looking at the wiki regarding Cid, it says: "...and is something of a substitute grandfather for Ceodore"
Am I wrong, or wasn't Rosa, Cid's daughter? Which means that if Ceodare is the son of Cecil and Rosa, then Cid IS his grandfather???

Cid wasn't Rosa's father. He was like a father figure to the young guns in Baron. He lived up the stairs in the big house. Rosa lived with her mother on the other side of town.

This is something that wouldn't work in America. I think that Syd is right... they will remake it for the DS or WiiWare. I hope WiiWare.
Also, Cid was not blood related to any other playable character in FFIV.
Question... if Rosa spent even some time in "THE LAND OF THE SUMMONED MONSTERS" as a second home, wouldn't she be really fucking old?
