Looks awesome, but at the same time, in this day in age do people really want the play mechanics of Dragon's Lair?

I wouldn't mind the gameplay, but it looks like a decent horror game. Adleast theres no zombies.

I dunno. at one point it sounds really immersive, but I prefer fun game playing experiences over realism. if pressing six buttons at once to hide under a table is supposed to be complicated and difficult because hiding under a table is copmplicated and difficult in real life, then cool, but that doesnt mean it will be fun to do.

I'm kinda worried that it will be one of those games that I get frustrated with and don't finish, and miss out on some awesome storytelling.

Ya, thats what happened with me in Indigo Prophecy. The story was fascinating, but the gameplay just really made me want to rip the games into shreds out of pure frustration.

I've never palyed indigo prophecy, but this was a huge part of what happened with clock tower.

a point and click mouse adventure isn't easily played on a palystation controller.

OH MY GOD! THAT'S THE SAME HOUSE WHERE THE SEXY TEENS GOT KILLED!

And Clock Tower would work well on the Wii, since you could actually point and click. Or, uh.... I don't know... PC?

I'm still looking for a PS1 mouse, so I can play my PS1 copy of X-Com the way it's meant to be played.

I remember there was a mouse controller designed for the SNES (and intended for RPGs of all things) back in the day. As for this game, it looks good but the lead reminds me of that chick from Law & Order (the one with Ice Cube in it).

Hah, Siren was much worse than Indigo Prophecy in terms of frustration. Not only were the puzzles ridiculously hard (not many clues are given, unlike Resident Evil and Silent Hill), but the monsters were a pain to avoid because of the lousy controls and the fact that there was little ammo. Fuck, I hated that game.

I kind of hate Siren, I bought it from EB games for five bucks and I don't even think the low price warranted a purchase. The story just isn't that intriguing, the enemies take a ridiculous amount of damage, and the game is too punishing when an enemy sees you.

Yes, I'm not alone on this! I'm glad I never bought it though. I just rented and played it for like 2 days and gave up.
