From WWE.com

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Mr. Kennedy (Ken Kennedy) as of today, May, 29 2009. WWE wishes Ken the best in all future endeavors.

It's over for him. Somewhere inside of me, I'm crying. Sad
Well, he gets injuries with utmost ease, but anyways...

I'm sure they'd never admit it, but he was a marked man from the time he got suspended and they had to make Hornswaggle be Vince's son.

Supposedly he hurt his wrist on Monday and nearly injured Orton due to improvization, and that was directly responsible for his release.

Oh god dammit. With HBK on hiatus, Kennedy was one of the few bright spots in my Raw viewings. This makes me really, really sad. Sad

Well, looks like it's now only HBK and The Miz(Big Show sorta too, but he's gotten old.) who bring me to watch RAW nowadays.

What I don't understand is why a single botch can cost people their jobs at WWE. It happened to another nice, underrated talented guy named Colt Cabana/Scotty Goldman earlier this year.
On the other hand, we have lame-asses like Mark Henry and Great Khali who do close to NOTHING useful in-ring and keep their jobs, let alone serious title shots.

Probably because it was with Orton, whom the WWE for some reason seems to cater to all the time, despite pretty much just being Triple H Lite without the real charisma.

I never understood his huge push either. He doesn't seem terribly different to me from a dozen other midcarders. Maybe its cause of his family, or maybe Trips and Flair really did take him under their wing IRL *shrug*. All I know is, I'd rather see Cena on my TV than Orton. Cena at the very least knows how to work a crowd.

That really sucks.

As comments go I pretty much agree with Ba'al.

I think the deal with Orton surrounds his character pre-2009. You had a guy that they fed tons of top names to, but he was a discipline problem. When he was found passed out in a hotel room, he was on the bubble, but apparently he's flown right since then. So better to keep him and develop a history for his character, than have him go to TNA or something and run down the list of guys he's beaten. Not that TNA doesn't already have a bunch of guys who've dominated in WWE, but you know Vince.

That said, I liked Orton a lot more when he acted on his own and would just strike and then slip away. The whole Legacy thing has kinda made him look like he needs a shield, and it's turned Ted and Cody into pummel dummies.
