I am creating this thread to be a place to address comments, questions, concerns, and whatnot about the chat room (mostly because I don't like seeing this stuff in the memorable quotes thread).
So here it is. Can't get in? Ignored docinsano and don't know how to fix it? Wanna know how to add questions to the bot or get it to say dirty words? Wanna complain about how much of a dick I am? This is the place. Ask away. We'll help as much as we can.

I made this quick login form a while ago.
It is a direct login for the web client.
Easier URL to remember and doesn't require any settings to login.

I was banned from DAL.net
I have appealed my case to them.. We'll see what happens.
I was building a new webclient. I had to be logged in twice to see the effect of what happens. They will hopefully respect this and unban my account.

Open it up (in the Tools window)
Click on Dalnet on the menu screen.
When it connects, type "/j sydlexia"

It means someone on your host has been making DDOS attacks against DalNet
Go here: http://www.dal.net/kb/view.php?kb=71#4
Says the ban will only last 12 hours, but you can try that e-mail they give there and ask for more info on it.
In the meantime, try the webclient.

First of all, delete the quote in your post.
Second of all, this happened to me about a week ago. After a day it started working again.

Webclient sucks.
DalNet will only allow so many people to connect from it. Once that number is hit, nobody else can get on.
Keep trying, or if possible, get a different client like ChatZilla.

The web client that everyone has been using is server hosted. That server keeps hitting its max connection limit since so many people connect through it. This is a dalnet restriction.
I have been working on creating a client that connects directly instead of through a secondary server.
