I have TERRIBLE news:
Wrath of God: OUT

It is not being replaced by Damnation, either. All we're getting is a sorcery that for 3WWW destroys all non-land permanents (they can regenerate). Also bad news:

Cancel: IN
Remove Soul: IN (With a new name)
Negate: IN

This means we won't have a single playable counterspell. It's like they want the only options to be burn, aggro, and midrange.

Those three cards are only "unplayable" when compared to Counterpell.

When we're getting cards like Lightning Bolt, Ball Lightning, Duress, a new dark ritual of some sort, Savannah Lions at uncommon and as a soldier (different name, obviously), etc, then those are unplayable.

We now know EVERY reprint in the set. Yes, Syd, Fireball is in, along with Earthquake. Mythic rares also include Time Warp and Darksteel Colossus.

#edit: There's also a mythic called Master of the Wild Hunt. My jaw dropped when I first saw it cause I thought it was regular Master of the Hunt.

That flying, first strike, lifelink, pro demon, pro dragon angel for the same cost as Serra is fucking insane too. I needs me four of those.

Something I noticed going through those reprints is that they really wanted to murder the cantrips, going as far as to reprint obsolete crap like Jump and Shatter to avoid printing a decently costed card with a cantrip.

Another change seems to be a shift away from global "All X" effects and towards "All your X" effects. The improved Crusade is good evidence of that, as well as the booting of Goblin King.

Fireball for Blaze and Bolt for Shock? Wow. They're pouring the premium into the tank this time.

Also, no chance of me making the pre-release this time. :/

I'm hoping to get a booster box pre-ordered in the next week, so I'll let you guys know what mythics I pull. Though, I doubt I'll the dumb luck that Asmodeous always has.

Yeah, I love my luck hehehe... Hopefully I'll be comming into work with 2 boxes of boosters to play with on the pre-release

I got my first rewards mailing yesterday by the way; two Terminates, two Negates, Remove Soul, Recollect, Tidings, and Rampant Growth. No Cryptics, apparently they don't think I've played enough but still cool.

The Thursday one starts at 6 pm. If you're gonna be late you may wanna call us and let us know, but it's sealed so if you're a few minutes late it's no big deal, you'll just have less time to build your decks. And yeah, bring people! The more the merrier! And I'm gonna update the website this week.

And BZ, we can't be sure, but rumour is that the next foil is going to be Maelstrom Pulse or Silence. Either would be awesome, but Pulse would be so much more awesome.
