So apparently G4TV is going to start running Arrested Development.

I don't like this idea at all.

I can't imagine an intelligent comedy doing well on the video game channel turned complete shithole, airing amidst crap like Happy Tree Friends, Fast Lane, and whatever other trash the once great channel is currently airing. And then the poor syndication ratings will be used to justify quashing any lingering hope that show might be resurrected.

I have to agree. G4 is not my channel of choice to syndicate the show. How'd they win that bid? Wouldn't it fit on TBS's schedule with "Seinfeld" and "Everybody Loves Raymond"? Heck, throw it up on FX! G4? Ugh...

Well, better syndicated on a downward whirling network than completely off the air, I guess.

Having Arrested Development on within an hour or two of Happy Tree Friends is about as appealing as the taste you get when drinking orange juice right after taking NyQuil.

G4 did not die recently.

It is a bloated, shit-faced zombie that is a festering bowl of dog-snot for a network..even WORSE then channel 8!

It's not terrible, but there at least a dozen flash cartoons that are more deserving of their own TV series than Happy Tree Friend. Like Homestar Runner or Radiskull & Devil Doll.

Fair enough. I just have good memories, when my friend and I used to tape them, take them to our school (conservative Christian school) and play them to the good kids who weren't allowed to watch M rated shows.

My two favorite parts of G4:

The commercial for the show where they compete on games, and ryu does a whirlwind kick that the other player blocks, and the announcer who has no clue goes, "RYU SCORES A MAJOR HIT ON KYO", despite the fact that he BLOCKED IT COMPLETELY

The review for Unreal 2 on PC, I love how they keep airing that 4 years after the fucking game came out and sucked.
