They seem just as funny as before, which I'm happy with.
I've missed the last three or so since I'm still adjusting to having a real job and working five days a week. I missed the one tonight though because I was at a birthday party.

Awesome, forgot about that option.
I wish they had the other two episodes I've missed on there though.

Someone may have posted them on Youtube. I missed some Metalocalypses on the Fix, and caught them that way.

I think the new episodes are awesome. They didn't lose the charm after their downtime, the writing is still as sharp as ever. Venture Bros. is pretty much the only adult swim cartoon I like, because it has actual plot and animation, instead of just non-sequitor bullshit humor and flash quality crap.

Venture Brothers is easily the best AS show that isn't on in reruns. If ATHF or Space Ghost ever come back though, I may change my mind.

Was anyone else totally hit from left-field with the Monarch's "Red Dragon" parody/homage?

I don't know, it's a hard call between Venture Brothers and Robot Chicken for me. I've been following Seth Green's work with stop-motion animation and action figures since his site on sony and his debut of his first work on Conan O'Brien.

Yeah, that was a bit random and striking. A bit more evil than I'm used to the Monarch being. Still funny though. Would like an explanation next week however, by having it emerge as a storyline or something.

You're welcome, Cattivo. Just trying to spread the Venture to everyone. My favorite WTF moment of "Fallen Arches" was when Dean, Brock, and Hank are doing that play in the dresses, then Hank sees Torrid on the can. That was hilarious!
Also, I love Robot Chicken, but I haven't caught any new ones (if there have been new ones). I did do a short movie using the Robot Chicken style (but it was live action) called TV I, after a song by the Wylde Rattz.
