I turned it on and saw Flair getting beat up for like 10 minutes by some dude,what was the deal?

Because, they really don't have a good opponent lined up for Jericho @ WM25, so he's going to face Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, and Ricky Steamboat in a 3 on 1, with Flair in the Legends corner. They needed to get people to care more about the match, so they had Jericho beat the piss out of Flair to make you want to root for three Legends who can't barely move anymore, let alone, wrestle.

I would say that even at his advanced age, Steamboat knows how to work his way around the ring, but his fucked up back probably won't allow for much.

Flair always gets beat up. It's like his gimmic.
