Geez people, there's a new article up. Get with the program.

Great review of the graphic novel and movie Syd. Truly insightful.

Haha yeah, just saw it. A good one too. Someone, I forget who now, bought me that Octopus game for my birthday when I was a kid. God, that game pissed me off.

This was a nice surprise to come home to. That was a fun read as always. P.S. if you ever want to eat some outdated food again let me know. I have a full box of Star Wars cookies here from 1983 that are dying for a brave soul to sample them. (I have a bag of Lays Potato Chips from the late 80s if you are real daring). Ciao my friend.

Very insightful and hilarious, I never knew that Mr. game & Watch was actually part of a sinister Nintendo conspiracy.

Wow, it's been ages since you've done an old food article, this'll be so intense!

<Drew_Linky> Well, I've eaten vegetables all of once in my life.

It's not for lack of trying. Nobody seems to put unopened food items on eBay anymore. I wonder if there was a change to their user policy that prohibits it. I had really wanted to get ahold of a box of Batman Returns cereal to review around the time Dark Knight came out, but I couldn't find one.

I used to have some unopened cans of Crystal Pepsi, they felt half full though like it evaporated, but they were still air tight. Confused

Oh for the love of god...

If you do this, please PLEASE take video and put it on YouTube.

You might want to edit out the vomit part though.

I second this idea. But you can include the vomiting if you want.

I PMed Syd about the cookies and chips. I'd like to see it happen too. I have a few bottles of the Orbits drink here too. I might throw one of those in as well to wash it all down if he agrees.

This makes me want to go find some old Topps cards still in the wrapper to see if he wants to eat some 1987 gum.

Great article Syd, but I disagree with how you said G&W was "damn near unplayable in Melee". One of my good friends who I still play melee with regularly is incredibly sick with him...

Here are the items in question:

Star Wars cookies

Lays Potato Chips (in corner of photo)

The chips are "Guaranteed Fresh", so no worries.

Here's the thing. Is it possible to be good with Game & Watch in Melee? Absolutely. But he's still a bottom tier character, and if you're up against someone who knows how to use Sheik, Fox, Falco, or Marth, you're going to get fucking wrecked.

Tiers are bullshit, although I shred it with Fox and Marth.

G&W is great if you blink your eyes very fast. Otherwise he looks like stop animation.

Greeneyedzeke uses him as his main guy in Brawl.

Syd, don't do it. It's faked. Look at the 7-Up bottle.
