I have never owned a PlayStation. By the time I got around to playing Final Fantasy VII, it was the PC version and it was Fall 1999. By then, the entire fucking world, including me, knew that Aeris dies. Did it ruin the game for me? Absolutely not.
If knowing the basic plot of a game, including a major spoiler or two, ruins a game for you, then either: 1) you are playing games for the wrong reasons and/or 2) the game (e.g. MGS4) wasn't very good to begin with. Simply knowing that Aeris dies doesn't ruin Final Fantasy VII because it ignores the cinematic depth of the scene and it ignores the emotional investment you have in the game and its characters by that point. |

So anyways... to add to the rant differently. How come Metal Warriors wasn't on the top 100 list but Cybernator made it? Metal Warriors is the better version.
